Veneers & Composite Build-Ups

Dental Veneers, Jersey

Our highly skilled team at Creative Smiles can help patients to achieve the smile they desire. One of the options we provide to our patients are dental veneers, which make the teeth look natural and healthy, providing an aesthetically pleasing finish.

Veneers are useful for closing gaps, altering the shape of teeth or improving the colour of discoloured teeth. They are also a great long-term cosmetic solution, as porcelain veneers typically last for 10 years with adequate care and hygiene, often longer!

How are Dental Veneers Fitted?

For dental veneers to attach to the natural tooth, a small part of enamel is removed to allow for the veneer to fit in-between the adjacent teeth. Then a mould or digital scan is taken of the patient’s mouth so that the veneers can be created at the dental laboratory. A temporary veneer is then provided for the patient to fill the gap, until the bespoke ones arrive and ready to be fitted.

During fitting, an acidic compound is placed onto the natural tooth in order to create a rough surface for the veneer to easily bond on. A dental adhesive is then used to safely secure the veneer in place, after which, the patient can showcase their brand new smile!

Composite Build-Ups in Jersey

Composite build-ups, also referred to as ‘composite restoration’ or ‘composite bonding’ is a great way to improve the appearance of a smile. The perfect cosmetic treatment for improving the size, straightness, shape or colour of a smile, composite build-ups are also a great solution for repairing broken or chipped teeth.

Why Choose Composite Build-Ups?

Composite build-ups are a popular solution to improve the appearance of a smile in a minimally invasive manner. Our dentist will discuss all of the options available to our patients, such as colour matching and whitening, to ensure that the finish is practically indistinguishable from the natural teeth.
